E-services provide a new and flexible way to submit your application. You may fill in an application form on your computer whenever it is convenient for you. You can follow the progress of the processing of your application online, without having to queue at a service point or in a telephone queue.
Visit a Finnish embassy or a police service point even if you use e-service
Since the application forms and appendices do not need to be sent by post, e-services makes the application process faster. You only need to visit a Finnish embassy or a police service point in Finland to verify your identity and to present the original copies of any supplements needed for the application.
N.B.! If you have submitted your application abroad via e-service, verify your identity and present the original copies of any supplements needed for the application in a Finnish embassy.
An application cannot be processed until you have visited the embassy or the police.
Submit an electronic application or check the status of your application
If you have not submitted your application online, you will find information on the progress of the processing from the overview of the queues.
