Returnees from areas of the former Soviet Union

You can obtain a residence permit on the basis of remigration if you originate in the area of the former Soviet Union and are of Finnish origin. You have not got Finnish citizenship but are ethnically of Finnish origin.

Other requirements relate to registration as a returnee, language skills and accommodation in Finland. You need no proof of means of support.
