Languages

The Finnish Immigration Service provides services in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The Finnish Immigration Service arranges translation and interpretation during the asylum application process and for matters initiated by the authorities, including refusal of entry, deportation and revocation of residence permit. In other cases you must obtain the services of an nterpreter or other linguistically competent assistant at your own expense.

Multilingual services are available at the Citizen Services Office located at the Helsinki City Hall.
