Ongoing search for additional resources

The Finnish Immigration Service and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, responsible for the interviewing of applicants at Finnish missions abroad, have instigated measures for obtaining additional resources for processing and decision-making with regard to applications based on family ties.

The aim is for the queue of applications based on family ties for Somalis to be cleared and for the special arrangements to remain short-term.
