Migration Library

Migration Library

The Migration Library is a specialised library under the Finnish Immigration Service that is open to the public. The library’s collections comprise literature on immigrants and phenomena closely related to migration as well as information on the conditions of countries of origin. Other main topics include refugee and migration policy, racism and ethnic relations, other issues associated with refugee status and integration of immigrants.

The library’s collections comprise around 12,000 volumes. As the library expands its collections, it continues taking into consideration the needs of those who work with immigration issues. The list of new items in the library can be accessed through the links below.

Public lectures will be organised in the library’s auditorium a few times a year. Lecturers will include the library’s own country information researchers and outside experts.
